American and Canadian manufacturers of equipment and machinery should have special interest to the Ukrainian market because Ukraine can import North American (ANSI/ CSA/ SAE/ ASME) new and used equipment. Ukraine is not a EU member state, and therefore CE marking is not required in Ukraine. If you have European branches, you could let them rest this time. |

Location of BuildTech'2005 show is excellent - the absolute majority of potential buyers is located in Kiev. The highest in the Country real estate prices keep high-rise constructing booming in the Ukrainian Capital. Kiev is the site of the biggest government supported projects in transportation and infrastructure development. As a Ukrainian heritage the City enjoys restoration and renovation funding. Most of the Ukrainian contactors are big Companies with multiple branches, daughter-companies, construction material production divisions, and equipment yards. As a rule, buying power is concentrated in hands of the Companies Headquarters. Big buyers make dominant part of the Ukrainian construction equipment market. Rental companies of North American range don't exist in Ukraine. Rental services are on demand, but potential rentees still own their equipment.
